Hagerstown Children’s Theater is a non-profit corporation that produces plays for children in the Hagerstown community. HCT also provides sliding scale tuition assistance to families in financial need. We are dedicated to elevating arts education, fostering a love of the arts that will last a lifetime and inspiring all children to be creative, smart and compassionate human beings. We accomplish this through our classes, workshops, summer camps, productions and preschool programs. We offer skill building classes in theater, music (voice and instrumental), dance, preschool programming and theatrical productions.

We have many exciting happenings this season but the most thrilling is our performance at Carnegie Hall March 27th 2014. We have been invited to perform an original theatrical concert selection and are thrilled to be performing. Auditions will be held in Sept 2013. Our productions this season have been carefully selected to make sure we are challenging all of our students and offering a wide variety of performance opportunities.
This musical is based on the original story of “Little Briar Rose” (not to be confused with the Disney version) and is a gorgeous musical, stimulating and fun for all of our students of all ages.
RAMONA THE PEST
This musical is based on the original classic and features the beloved Ramona Quimby, her family, neighborhood and follows her through Kindergarten.
NBTween follows a group of friends who range in age between ten and fourteen. This story explores through song the angst and glory of those pre-tween years and the glories of friendship.
